Ditch chemicals- Learn How to Color Hair Naturally at Home

A general view which is believed by majority of people is that ‘Everything looks better in color’. Be it clothes, dresses, shoes or accessories, etc, the world is a beautiful place if it is vivid. Well, that’s even truer for hair.

In today’s world, distinct methods are used by hairstylist to give a new and vibrant look to their customer’s hair. However, these methods which include hair dyes, temporary or permanent, can contain potentially damaging and toxic chemicals like parabens or ammonia. These chemicals not only harm the hair but damage the hair to such an extent that it is difficult to repair the hair and restore its texture.

To avoid such a situation, Natural Hair Dyes come to the rescue! There are various natural products which can be used at home by anyone to give their hair a tinge of any color they like.
These products do not harm the hair, yet give you the color highlight of your choice, that too at a minimal cost.

Here are some natural products that can be used to make natural DIY hair dyes at home:

1.Carrot Juice

3) Secure your hair over your head in a bun and cover them with a shower cap. Leave it for an hour to settle.
4) Rinse the mixture with apple cider vinegar.

However, unlike other methods, this method is irreversible and permanent. Lemon juice acts as a natural bleaching agent for the hair. The pigment on the hair will wither away slowly. If you wish you can get rid of the lightened hair by cutting them off.

1) In a spray bottle, pour some lemon juice.
2) Spray the juice on your hair evenly.
3) Use a comb to spread the juice on your hair
4) For best results, sit outside in the sun.
5) Leave the lemon juice for at least an hour.
6) Wash your hair.
7) To get the desired effect, you can repeat it 2-3 times. It’s a slow process and may require to be repeated.

5. Coffee

In addition to giving you a caffeine boost, coffee can be used for other wonderful things. One of which is, it can also help dye your hair to a darker shade.
